GreatAmerica Announces FleetView™ Software Product
For Immediate Release(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) -- GreatAmerica Leasing Corporation announced today its first software release designed to help office equipment dealers build their business by monitoring equipment in the field. FleetView™, a tailored GreatAmerica corporate brand of PrintFleet Enterprise System™, is an industry-leading remote print management system that will continuously monitor printers, copiers, fax machines, or multifunction peripherals on a network. The software is expected to increase efficiency in the device management process by automating the meter read process, tracking consumable levels, and diagnosing most problems before sending out a technician. “We saw this as an opportunity to bring the industry’s most capable and complete device management package to our dealers without them having to invest in a new system,” said David Pohlman, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the GreatAmerica Office Equipment Group. “Currently, it is cumbersome to manually collect meter reads on copiers and MFPs and it is impractical to manually collect these reads from printer devices. FleetView streamlines this process with its remote monitoring capability and can create more sales opportunities with a complete picture of their customer’s environment.” The FleetView package will monitor customers ranging in size from the one-printer office to large 10,000-device fleets without the need for any special hardware. This scalability will also help dealers of all sizes better manage any “cost-per-image” type contact or service agreement.
