GreatAmerica Portfolio Services Group (GPSG) is a lease and loan outsourcing service provider specializing in third party, backup, and successor servicing. We focus on developing mutually beneficial relationships with banks, independent financial companies, captives, vendors, manufacturers, trustees and financial investors, ultimately helping them achieve greater success.

Backup Servicing Solutions for the Solar Industry

Solar finance companies, banks, and rating agencies interested in residential solar securitizations are searching for a backup servicing solution to support not only the financial contracts, but also the operations and maintenance (O&M) aspect of the equipment. GPSG is developing potential solutions with O&M partners, trustees, issuers, rating agencies, and investors in the space. Within a short timeframe, we intend to offer a workable backup servicing solution that does not rely on the direct competitors of the issuers for O&M services. GPSG is an experienced backup servicer, and we look forward to leveraging our expertise in this new market.

Third Party Servicing Solutions

Equipment Leasing Industry

Equipment lease originators, whether they are regional banks, independent lessors, or brokers, currently have an opportunity to implement alternative funding avenues and/or take greater control of their customers. GPSG has a long history in the equipment leasing industry, and we work with these originators by providing our “Helping You Get There” insight and solutions. We help originators identify and overcome servicing hurdles. Our commitment to the equipment leasing industry has always been strong, and we intend to continue this focus in the future.

Solar Industry

Solar finance companies have found that GPSG provides strong capabilities, knowledge, and servicing solutions. Our systems offer an automated solution to the unique variable data billing and reporting challenges of the solar industry. Additionally, solar finance companies looking to develop a new funding model benefit from our capital markets knowledge and reporting ability learned from years of regular term securitization market issuance. We intend to remain committed, focused and involved within the solar space by participating in industry events and further developing our capabilities.

Front-end Solutions

In our last newsletter, we reported a partnership with Vision Commerce to offer front-end processing solutions to our customers. Through this relationship, our customers manage their sales, credit, pricing, documentation, and reporting as a secured subscriber. GPSG helps define the processes and provides knowledgeable insight in configuring the solution to meet the customer’s needs. As a result, we are offering our customers a value-add, front-end solution that is integrated into and complements our back-end services.

THE GREATAMERICA EXPERIENCE SPOTLIGHT

The GreatAmerica Experience is one of the many factors that separate us from most servicing companies. GPSG ensures the actions we take are driven by our intent to have a mutually rewarding relationship with our customers. The functions within our team do not confine us to a specific role, as we are a team of cross-trained individuals with knowledge and understanding to provide a one call resolution with customers.

When Lois Mahr combines her passion for assisting new clients with her vendor relations experience at GreatAmerica, the result is smooth sailing when onboarding clients.

A native Iowan, Lois first worked for Dun and Bradstreet before joining GreatAmerica in 1997.
