GreatAmerica Awards 13 Nonprofits Grants Through Its Employee Advised Fund
(Cedar Rapids IA) – GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation announced the completion of its Employee Advised Fund fall 2025 grant cycle, awarding $250,000 to nonprofits in the Eastern Iowa area. This marks the final of two giving cycles in 2025.
The Employee Advised Fund empowers GreatAmerica employees to make charitable giving decisions by voting on nonprofit applications, directly impacting worthy organizations in the community.
“At GreatAmerica, we know we have a duty to make the places we live better,” shared Martin Golobic, CEO of GreatAmerica. “When our employees lead our giving, it reflects who we are, and it helps us attract and retain great people who want to be part of something bigger.”
From a slate of 35 applicants, 13 nonprofits were awarded grants ranging from $2,500 to $25,000. The recipients of the fall 2025 cycle include:
Area Substance Abuse Council, Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support Center, Cedar Valley Humane Society, Central Furniture Rescue, Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, Foundation 2 Crisis Services, House of Hope, Matthew 25, North Liberty Community Pantry, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, Inc., Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc., Waypoint, Willis Dady Homeless Services.
This is the sixth round of giving for the GreatAmerica Employee Advised Fund, which started in 2022. The next grant cycle will open for applications in March 2026 and can be accessed at https://www.greatamerica.com/giving.
