Lori Berry of GreatAmerica Financial Services Recognized as One of CRN's 2018 Women of the Channel
Cedar Rapids, IA, May 14, 2018 – GreatAmerica Financial Services announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Lori Berry, Strategic Technology Analyst Lead, to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.
"Lori is dedicated to helping our partners achieve greater success. She is the catalyst behind many of our strategic relationships and spearheaded the integrations that help our partners achieve greater success," Wil Meggers, Vice President and General Manager of the Connected Technology Unit at GreatAmerica said. "Her commitment and involvement in the community keep her aware of partner pain points and help us find solutions. We're lucky to have her."
Lori is responsible for most the integrations between GreatAmerica and the channel business tools they use. These integrations allow partners to provide monthly payment options to clients in a few easy clicks.
Lori is both tasked with managing existing integrations, and finding new ways to improve the customer experience with GreatAmerica through technology. Currently, Lori is developing a new integration with ConnectBooster that allows Solution Providers to reconcile their service dollars GreatAmerica bills on their behalf.
In addition to her responsibilities of integrations, Lori is the primary point of contact for the GreatAmerica relationship with HTG Peer Groups. In the past year, Lori received the Go Giver award from HTG, which is voted on by the members of the community as well as the Outstanding Acheiver award within GreatAmerica which is peer nominated and selected.
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
"This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships," said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. "CRN's 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives."
The 2018 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc.
